The BigSun scholarship 2023/2024 is part of its annual series that is clearly targeted at young student-athletes who are after their academic pursuit, irrespective of the type of sports they engage in while studying.
The BigSun Organization is growing with the mandate of supporting student-athletes who are in high school senior or be attending a post-secondary institute, for various studies.
The Big Sun Athletic Organization is dedicated to providing an opportunity for young athletes to learn and excel. We are developing programs in all sports in our community in an effort to keep our children motivated, and healthy and to teach them the value of teamwork.

How to Apply for BigSun Scholarship
To apply for the Big Sun Scholarship, students need to take some simple actions:
Please note: The BigSun Scholarship taps its qualification roots from a short essay competition. To participate and stand a chance to win the cash award ( with other athletic career opportunities) that comes with this scholarship, students must write and submit a short essay that clearly answers the following questions:
- 1. How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you?
- 2. Has your participation influenced your career goals?
- 3. Has your participation influenced how you relate to your family?

From here, the BigSun Organization will review all the entries and finally announce the winners of this year’s competition. Also, winners will be notified of their status and their names published on the organization’s website.
