  1. Students spend preliminary one year in Korea, learning the Korean Language.

Who is Eligible?

To be considered eligible for the Korean Government Scholarship Program 2024, candidates must:

  1. Be from the country that is NIIED designated as eligible for the KGSP.
  2. Become a graduate not later than the 1st of March of the year the offer is being opened.
  3. Have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of , at least 80% of 100% (depending on the school grading0.
  4. Not be older than 25 yeas old as undergraduate applicant.
  5. Be below 40 years of age as a graduate applicant.

Note: Priority is given to candidates who are fluent in Korean and English Language(s).

Is KGSP fully funded?

KGSP is 100% funded by the Korean Government for students to study in Korea, and unlike most full scholarships, there are additional benefits. How do I apply for KGSP Scholarship in 2024?

Applying for GKS 2024 is a straightforward process through either the Embassy Track or University Track. If opting for the Embassy Track, candidates can submit their applications through the Korean embassy in their home country. Alternatively, those choosing the University Track can directly apply to their preferred university.

However, you should submit all documents related to the Korean Government Scholarship 2024 application to the Korean Embassy in your country of residence or the Korean university of your chosen.

Meanwhile, whoever is responsible for accepting international travel; (the Embassy or the School) will forward  NIIED with all the information required for the processing.
