Admission Eligibility

Different Nigerian Universities (States and Federal) do have their modes of acceptance and in most cases not open for public consumption. But as a Nigerian student, you ought to have understood that the only leverage you have is your rich score in your JAMB and also First Choice of the institution among many other listed below:

  • Choose the institution as 1st choice in JAMB UTME
  • Meet their JAMB cut off mark
  • Have at least 5 credit passes at relevant subjects
  • Mathematics and English language are compulsory for some Departments
  • Must be at least 16 years before you become qualified for admission in Nigerian higher Institution.
  • O-level result slip or certificate. O-level is your WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB. In addition, it must not be in more than two sittings
  • Jamb result prints out.
  • Jamb registration slip
  • Birth certificate (from hospital, church, LGA or Court)
  • Certificate of origin

If you have all these factors, you can now proceed to the institution for your admission and try to be punctual with processes because every school is NUC regulated, which may place a limit on the number of candidates that can be taken into their various faculties and departments.

Note: You need to Make proper verifications about every school, through the official website of those institutions. No admission can be conducted outside the school; and you stand warned against people or groups who may try to scam you into fake admission.
