Jean Moulin University offers programmes structured in accordance with the European higher education “three-cycle” system, based primarily on three types of degree – Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees – and employing the ECTS credits principle (European Credits Transfer System).

Also, the University also offers national degrees and diplomas outside the three-cycle system: DUTs (two-year technical degrees) and professional degrees.

What are the health measures have been put in place at Jean Moulin University?

Each person is responsible for following the protective measures in order to protect themselves and others: wearing masks, frequent hand washing (soap and hand sanitizer dispensers are available in different locations around the campus) and physical distancing.

Who is covered by the exemption of Tuition for 2020-21?

All students subject to differentiated enrolment fees will benefit from an exemption for the academic year 2020-21: as in previous years, they will only have to pay the national enrolment fees.

For how long will this exemption provided apply?

Starting from enrolment or re-enrolment, in 2020-21, this exemption will be granted for the entire duration of study for a degree of the same level (the three levels of higher education corresponding to the European education levels). National enrolment fees will therefore apply in these cases.

1st level: Bachelor’s degrees and 2nd level: Master’s degrees

Students in 3rd level doctoral degrees are not affected by the differentiated enrolment fees.

Information for 1st year of a Bachelor’s degree

If you join the 1st year of a Bachelor’s degree in the university in 2020-21, you will pay the national enrolment fee for the years you spend studying for the degree (€170 each year for the three years of the degree, price subject to change).

Information for 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree

If you join the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree in the university in 2020-21, you will pay the national enrolment fee for the 3rd year of the Bachelor’s degree (€170, price subject to change). If you then start a Master’s degree in 2021-22, you will have changed the degree level, so you will not automatically benefit from a partial exemption.

Unless specifically agreed, you will therefore pay the differentiated enrolment fee of €3,770 per year.

Information for 1st year of a Master’s programme

If you are already enrolled in the 1st year of a Master’s programme at Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University in 2019-20 and you wish to re-enrol in the 2nd year of the Master’s programme in 2020-21, you will pay the national enrolment fee (€243 based on the year 2019-20, price subject to change). Good Luck.
