Wallin scholarship 2023: Call for applications for the Wallin education partners scholarship awards for eligible and qualified students. Wallin scholarship is a scholarship for seniors at any of their partner high schools – who also meets the eligibility to apply for this scholarship.

WAnd awardees of the Wallin scholarships receive financial aid of up to $4000 per year for four years. This sums up to a maximum of $16000.

Financial Aid

Wallin education partners give scholars financial aid to reduce the cost of college.  They carefully leverage funding to ensure that it is not displaced and actually reduces the cost of attendance.

Wallin Education Partners also ensure that scholars begin their college journey and finish with less debt.

Individual Advising

The second platform which wallin education partners use to achieve their goal is individual advising. Through individual advising, programs, students belong to a proven support system. Scholars are connected with a full-time- time, a professional advisor that addresses each student’s unique needs.

Effective Partners

This is the third platform that Wallin Education Partners use to reach out to students. Effective partnerships with colleges and universities enable students to become graduates ready for their next step. By working with high schools, businesses, non-profits, and donor partners increase scholar success.

The junior league of Minneapolis supports this mission by financially supporting one female high school senior annually in her quest for higher education.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic rigor, commitment to the community, and being the first generation in her family to attend college or university.

Results from Wallin Scholarships over the Years

With over 25 years of experience, the Wallin scholarship has consistently achieved strong results for scholars and donor partners.

Not only do scholars from the partnership schools and under this scholarship have an exceptional 91% graduation rate, they also experience a 95% employment rate after graduating.

Scholars celebrate more graduations and witness more students becoming everything they can be.

What created the need for Wallin Scholarship?

One of the needs that birthed the Wallin scholarship is the fact that college is generally out of reach for many lower-income students who have high potential and are ready for college.

Also, the low rate of graduation is another reason for the creation of the Wallin scholarship. Only 60% of all college students in the US graduate.

Over the past 25 years, the cost of attending college has increased nearly 500% for a typical student. Cost is a barrier to access (US Labor Department).

Who are the Beneficiaries of Wallin Scholarships?

The Wallin scholarship is open to seniors at a partnering high school.  The body had high schools that have partnered with it.

Students who have graduated from such high schools are eligible for the Wallin scholarship. The Wallin scholarship is hosted in the United States.

The Wallin foundation scholarship is open to all students in the United States.

Scholarship Worth

Beneficiaries of the Wallin scholarship 2023 will receive financial aid of $ 4000 per year for four years. This sums up a maximum amount of $ 16000.

The said amount is used to cater to college or university fees, books, accommodation as the need may be.

Eligibility for Wallin Scholarship 2023

A  Scholarship Applicant for Wallin Education Partners must be a senior at a partnering high school with at least a 3.00 GPA and ACT 19. See more: http://wallinpartners.org/about/partners/

  • A Scholarship applicant for Wallin Education Partners must have an Unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • A scholarship Applicant for Wallin Education Partners should have a total ACT score of 19 or higher.
  • A scholarship Applicant For Wallin Education Partners must have applied to at least one eligible college or university which are accredited, four-year, public, or private (not-for-profit) institutions in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota or one of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). 
  • Awards must be used at one of these institutions beginning the fall term after graduation from high school.
  • A Scholarship Applicant must for Wallin Education partners have a Family taxable income of $75,000 or less in 2018 with low to moderate assets.
