  1.  Hosting plan
  2.  Domain name
  3.  Blogging platform (WordPress)

Step 1: Go to the Bluehost Website.

To begin this journey, click here to go to the Bluehost website. The homepage will look like this. Then follow the video carefully.

Once on the homepage, navigate to the button that says “get building” and select it, you should be taken to a new page with different web hosting plans that you could choose from. 

As a beginner, it’s okay (and even advised) to pick the basic plan. This is to enable you to get acquainted with the platform, and when you’re ready to start earning, you can always upgrade your plan. 

When you click on learn more, a more detailed price list will be made available to you for you to choose from.

Also, the price of these plans may vary depending on the duration you’re paying for. When paying for the 36 months duration, (3 years) you get a cheaper price compared to when you’re paying for 12 months. 

Step 2: Register Your Domain Name.

This is where things start to get interesting. Your blog starts taking shape from this very step. On this page, you get to choose a domain name for your blog`. if you haven’t chosen one yet, don’t worry, click on the “I’ll create the domain later” prompt at the bottom of the page. 

Meanwhile, if you have a domain name in mind for your blog, you can register it for free. Just type in your intended domain name.

 Bluehost will tell you if that your intended domain name is available. If it is, then you can move on to the next step. On the other hand, if it’s not available Bluehost will come up with suggestions. These suggestions will be based on the initial domain name you chose.

If you’re satisfied with any of the domain names provided, then we can advance to the next step.

Step 3: Fill In Your Details.  

After entering and selecting your domain name, you will now enter your details in the spaces as shown below.

This also contains a breakdown of what you’re paying for and the total cost. You’re to enter your payment details in the spaces provided. Once payment is completed, you’ll receive a welcome message.

Step 4: Log In To Your Bluehost Account.

WordPress is automatically installed into your Bluehost account during your sign-up process, and all you need to do to access your WordPress dashboard is to sign in to your Bluehost account. You’ll be prompted to choose a password for your account.

Select the button that says ‘create password’, type in your desired password, and click next. It is as simple as that. You have now created your blog with Bluehost. To access your WordPress dashboard enter
