For years, the Mobil Nigeria National Undergraduate Scholarship has been taken in Nigeria only.
Mobil Nigeria National Undergraduate Scholarship is part of the organizations’ support to educational development and human capacity building; and an effort of Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN), the operator of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)/MPN Joint Venture offer these annual scholarships to qualified and well-deserving undergraduate students in Nigerian Universities.
Mobil Producing Nigeria is an operator of the NNPC/MPN Joint Venture and the sole funder of this scholarship.
To apply and participate for the ExxonMobil Scholarship 2020, candidates are required to possess certain qualities.
Who is Eligible for Exxonmobil Scholarship 2020?
Awards will be offered to qualified and suitable students who are currently admitted in Nigerian Universities irrespective of the State of origin, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
To apply, candidates must:
- Beholders of the SSCE or its equivalent in one seating.
- be registered full-time undergraduates in their 1st year (100 level) or 2nd year (200 level) of study in any accredited Nigerian University
Note: Awardees from similar oil and gas companies should not apply for this scholarship.
Also, dependents of staff of Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited, Mobil Oil Nigeria plc. And Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited is not qualified for this scholarship.

Passport photograph with white background not more than three months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
- A current University ID card
- School or JAMB Admission letter

Since the inception of Mobil’s e-scholarship administration system, it has become a tradition that only the selected students will be invited for computer-administered qualifying tests.
This test is to be carried out in a few selected examination centres across the nation.
